It was cold in Las Vegas today, which, yeah, I know, “anything below 70 is cold!” (though that could easily be flipped for those who say anything above 70 is sweltering, so there you go!) but we’re dipping down below freezing at night, and not getting much above it during the day. I’m hoping that the precipitation we’re supposed to be getting this weekend will come a little sooner and maybe we’ll get a repeat of last year’s snowfall. Chances are slim, but I’ll take it!

I guess it’s pretty standard to do an intro post for Holidailies, but it’s been a while since I’ve done one so it’s not going to be anything special!

I’m Heather. I started writing online in July 1998 with an online journal, in which I documented the pregnancies and births of my 11-year-old and 9-year-olds, a move from podunk Utah to Las Vegas, and all the fun stuff in between. I started my first weblog in 2000, and Smattering in 2001.

I like to read, watch movies and hang out with the family, especially when it’s cold and windy out like it’s been the last few days. I still knit though I don’t have much time for it anymore. Anyway, let’s see how long this lasts!
